This page presents our commitments in terms of digital accessibility and defines the level of compliance of this site with current regulations and standards.

What is digital accessibility?

Digital accessibility is a set of rules and best practices covering functional, graphic, technical and editorial aspects.
Following these rules and best practices ensures that digital media (websites, mobile applications, PDF documents, etc.) are accessible to people with disabilities.
For example, an accessible site allows you to :

  •  Customize your display via the operating system and/or browser (enlarge or shrink characters, change typography, modify colors, stop animations, etc.).
  • Navigate using assistive technologies such as text-to-speech or Braille.
  • Navigate without using the mouse, using the keyboard only, switches or a touch screen.
  • View video and audio content with subtitles and/or transcriptions.
  • Etc.

Digital accessibility commitments

Lesaffre undertakes to make its websites (internet, intranet and extranet), mobile applications, software packages and digital street furniture accessible in accordance with article 47 of law no. 2005-102 of February 11, 2005.

Additional comments

Validity of generated source code

The source code generated for the site’s pages is not totally valid for the type of document specified.
However, for the reasons given below, RGAA criterion 8.2 corresponding to this point has been marked as compliant.

Officially, WCAG criterion 4.1.1 relating to this RGAA criterion 8.2 has been removed from WCAG 2.2 and must be considered as still being satisfied with regard to WCAG 2.1 and European standard EN 301 549.

In practice, this criterion no longer has any benefit in terms of accessibility for the disabled. Any accessibility problems arising from the non-validity of the source code generated are covered by other RGAA criteria.
